MWT Tours and Events is the premier tour and event organizer in the United States. The company was originally founded in Salt Lake City, Utah as Mountain West Travel in 1992 by Yasuo Tokita. Since that time, we have rebranded to MWT to signify our expansion beyond the region of just the Mountain West to include areas from the East coast to the West coast, including Hawaii. Our company is comprised of two divisions.

The Tour Division specializes in organizing nature tours and tours that depart a little outside of the main cities. We provide nature tours in English and Japanese. The primary operating region for the Tours Division is the cities and surrounding areas of Colorado Springs, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Francisco.
The Events Division manages and creates events and logistic services for non-profit events, tradeshows, in city tours, and DMC services. The operating region for the Events Division is Chicago, Colorado Springs, Denver, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC. Our modified business model and managing systems allow us to manage efficiently any major city within the United States. Some of the things we handle include: Online registration, event badging, convention shuttle routes, pre and post convention tours, dine around, airport shuttles, multilingual staffing.
